The establishment of the Abrams Regional Competence Centre at the Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A. in a leading role has been announced. The process of creating the Centre will involve US corporations and companies belonging to the Polish Armament Group which are to be integrated into the supply chain of US manufacturers. The aim of the cooperation is to secure the logistical needs of the US equipment in use, in the first stage for the Polish Armed Forces, and in the future for the US Armed Forces stationed in Poland, Central and Eastern Europe and other European countries.

On 26 June, at the headquarters of the Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A. in Poznań, a Teaming Agreement was concluded between General Dynamics Land Systems, the US Abrams tank manufacturer, and the Polish Armament Group.
The meeting was attended by representatives of American companies: Allison Transmission, BAE Systems, Honeywell, Raytheon, L3Harris, Leonardo DRS, Lockheed Martin, as well as companies from the Polish Armament Group. The event was an opportunity to present the Polish companies’ existing and future potential, as well as to exchange information between the main American companies (suppliers of major components for the Abrams tanks and the M88A2 technical protection vehicles) and Polish units of the Polish Armament Group.
