Powerpacks for K2

Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A. has been designated by PGZ S.A. (Polish defense Group) to carry out tasks aimed to secure power units for the K2 family of vehicles.

This decision was made for a number of reasons, including:

• Company’s extensive experience in providing such services for engines used in the T-72 and Leopard family of tanks,
• established commercial relationships with key manufacturers and component suppliers for the powertrains, including Rolls-Royce/MTU,
• highly specialised staff,\fully prepared infrastructure, including an engine test house,
• available instrumentation required to carry out major engine overhauls.
