Production of the K2PL tanks in the Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A.

On 02 March 2023, the Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A. had the honour of hosting Mariusz Blaszczak, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence, and Sebastian Chwałek, President of the Polish Armament Group. During the meeting with the management and employees of the Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A., the head of the Ministry of Defence informed about the concluded agreement with South Korea for the servicing, overhaul, and production of the K2 tanks for the Polish Armed Forces.

“The potential of the Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A. has led to the fact that, as announced by the Prime Minister, the assembly centre and ultimately the production of these vehicles will be located mainly here” emphasised President Sebastian Chwałek, who accompanied the Deputy Prime Minister.
