2024 – another successful year at WZM

2024 was a time of hard work and numerous accomplishments for our Company. The commitment and expertise of our management and all staff members translated into excellent financial performance.

Instrumental in the success was timely delivery of contracts for our clients from the Polish MoD. Our last year’s projects included:

  • verification of Leopard 2A5 tanks,
  • inspection of Leopard 2A5 and Leopard 2A4 tanks,
  • restoring full operational readiness of Leopard 2A5 and 2A4 tanks,
  • overhauls of BWP-1/1D infantry fighting vehicles,
  • completion of overhauls and upgrades of BWR-1D/1S reconnaissance vehicles,
  • deprocessing of the Abrams M1A1 FEP tanks,
  • repair and supply of power packs for Leopard 2A4/2PL/2PLM1 tanks,
  • supply of power packs for the NBWP Borsuk IFVs.

Overall, we delivered nearly 200 equipment units in 2024, exceeding the previous year’s total. Importantly, full production and maintenance potential of WZM S.A. is yet to be tapped, which opens up opportunities for continued growth and expansion.

We thank you for your trust and support on our journey to such outstanding performance.

Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne S.A. – a leader in strategic upgrade projects

Remarkably, WZM delivered all contracts in strict compliance with their terms, solidifying the company’s posture as a solid and trusted partner. Overwhelmingly positive feedback from the crews and users of the military equipment supplied by the Company in 2024 testifies to superior quality of our services and our commitment to the development of the Polish Armed Forces.

WZM actively supports upgrade programs of the Polish Ministry of Defense by participating in the procurement of new equipment and weapons. The Company sees that involvement as an opportunity for continued growth and consolidation of its position in the years ahead. The previous year also saw advanced negotiations with foreign partners, in collaboration with the Polish MoD and PGZ S.A, our parent undertaking, on the broadly understood support for Abrams and K2 tank platforms.

Another highlight was the the agreement on repair and upgrade of BWR-1D/1S reconnaissance vehicles for 2024-2026, signed on 19 January 2024.

WZM is fully committed to pursuing its vision of supporting the production and maintenance of vehicles recently acquired by the Polish Armed Forces, at each stage of their lifecycle.
